Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the StonePay platform (the "Service") operated by StonePay Ltd ("us," "we," or "our").

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all users, visitors, and others who wish to access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, then you may not access the Service.

1.Who we are

This Terms & Conditions applies between you, the User of the Stonepay app, this Website and Stonepay ltd, the owner and provider of this Website and the Stonepay app. 

StonePay is a free application that provides a wide range of services, including send payment request, share reputation report, support for multiple devices, and free of charge. Some additional services, such as StonePay Premium, may be available for purchase in certain countries – offering an even more powerful messaging experience and a chance to support the continuing development of the StonePay platform.

These Terms of Service for StonePay App (“SP Terms”) govern your usage of the StonePay App (“SP App”) provided by StonePay ltd. (“StonePay”) and constitute a legally binding agreement between you and StonePay.

By using the SP App, you agree that you have read in full, understood and accepted to be legally bound by the terms contained hereinIf you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to the privacy policy and this terms and conditions agreement.

1.1 Use of the Service

1.2. By signing up for StonePay App, you accept our Privacy Policy, and Community Policy and agree not to:

  • Use our service to send spam or scam users.
  • Post illegal content or false information.

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service later.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

1.3  You agree not to misuse or interfere with the Service, including but not limited to attempting to access unauthorized areas of the platform, introducing malicious code, or engaging in any activity that may disrupt or harm the Service.

2. Account Registration

2.1. You may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your password.

2.2. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3. Privacy

3.1. Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which can be found at our Privacy Policy page.

3.2 As part of our services, we work with third party financial services providers to offer you business finance solutions. When you register with us, you are authorising us to check your company’s eligibility for business finance. This involves sharing with these third party providers some information about your company, and these third party providers asking credit reference agencies for your commercial credit data. These data requests may leave one or more ‘soft searches’ on your commercial credit file. Soft searches are only visible to you and the credit reference agency. They are not visible to lenders or organisations carrying out a full search when deciding whether to offer your company credit, and they don’t affect your company’s credit score.

4. Terms of Service for StonePay Premium

StonePay Premium is a subscription membership that unlocks exclusive features and improved functionality. By purchasing StonePay Premium, you agree that you are authorizing recurring monthly or yearly payments, which will be made to StonePay using the payment method you selected until the subscription is canceled by you or StonePay.

StonePay uses third-party payment processors to securely facilitate purchases of StonePay Premium.

4.1  StonePay premium Payment

You can manage your StonePay Premium subscription by accessing the StonePay Plan & Billing section in the Settings of your StonePay account. If your payment method is declined, you must provide new payment information or your StonePay Premium subscription will be canceled. If you provide new payment information and are successfully charged, your new subscription period will be based on the original renewal date and not the date of the successful charge.

4.2 Taxes and Conversion Rates

Users in certain regions may be required to pay local taxes, which will be calculated and added to the total cost of a purchase. Payment providers may apply their own commissions and conversion rates to payments in various currencies. This is outside of StonePay’s control.

6. Cancellation Policy

6.1. Cancelling a Subscription

You can cancel StonePay Premium any time. To cancel your subscription, follow the instructions in the StonePay user or company Plan & Billing section in the Settings of your StonePay account.

6.2 Refunds and Effective Cancellation

Your subscription will remain active from the time you cancel until the end of your current billing period, and you will not receive a refund or credit for any remaining days in your current billing period. At the end of your subscription you will lose access to all features associated with StonePay Premium.
Deleting your StonePay account or removing the StonePay application from your device does not cancel your subscription.

7. Paid Services Obtained Through Third Parties

If you obtain a StonePay Premium subscription via a third party (e.g. Google Play, Apple App Store), your purchase may be further subject to the third party's terms as agreed between you and the third party. For Paid Services obtained via a third party, your billing relationship will be directly with the applicable third party.

5. Termination

5.1. Compliance with the Terms

Failure to comply with the StonePay Terms of Service and StonePay Community Policy may result in a temporary or a permanent ban from StonePay or some of its services. In such instances, you might lose the benefits of StonePay Premium and we will not compensate you for this loss.

5.2. Unilateral Termination

StonePay can decide to stop offering subscriptions at any time, including in response to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, or to comply with a legal requirement; in this case we will cancel your subscription and refund the prorated portion of any prepaid subscription fee equal to the remaining unused term of the subscription.

6. Taxes, Fees and Refunds

You are responsible for all applicable taxes, data plans, internet fees, and other fees associated with your use of StonePay.
Generally, all charges for purchases are nonrefundable. It is not possible to get a “partial refund” or credit if a user wishes to cancel their recurring subscription early – it will remain valid until the end of its purchased duration.

7. Changes

7.1. Pricing and Terms

While we do not anticipate frequent changes to the price of StonePay Premium, we reserve the right to change both these terms and the fees in effect on renewal of your subscription, to reflect factors such as changes to our business, different product offerings, or new economic conditions.

7.2. Advance Notice

We will give you no less than 30 days' advance notice of any material changes via a message to your StonePay account and you will have the opportunity to cancel your subscription before the new fee comes into effect. Any correspondence from the StonePay Team about a user’s Premium account will be sent via verified service accounts in the StonePay app.
Messages from StonePay about your Premium account will contain relevant information about your subscription or payment status – not special offers or promotions. 


8.1. StonePay It’s Not a Payment App. StonePay does not process payments. Instead, payments are processed by third-party payment providers. By using these external services, you agree to comply with third-party payment processing terms.

9. Reputation Score

9.1. StonePay provides a Reputation Score that is based on user activity and feedback. Users are encouraged to maintain a positive reputation within the community.

10. Termination

10.1. We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms or the Community Policy.

11. Changes.

11.1. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes to these Terms.
